After the hugely exhilarating day participating in the simulated game day at Bisbrooke Hall on Saturday, it seemed only fair to enjoy a leisurely Sunday relaxing and recovering from the thrills of the day before. You can read all about my experience at Bisbrooke here.
I spent my bank holiday Sunday enjoying a chilled Sunday lunch at our favourite local pub, which gave me the perfect excuse to wear my new Holland Cooper sporting jacket.
Continuing with the love of Navy, the Holland Cooper Sporting Jacket is my newest addition and definitely one of my favourites
I have been dying to share this one with you all, I bought it at Badminton Horse Trials earlier this month and due to a holiday and other bits and pieces, this was the first opportunity I had to give it an outing!
This cashmere blend blazer is perfect for the warmer months when a Holland Cooper cape is less practical (although I have to admit I love mine so much that I do try and wear it for as long into summer as acceptable!). The fit is perfectly tailored which gives a wonderfully elegant silhouette.
There are so many things to love about this gorgeously stylish jacket, particularly the attention to detail; the collar has a 100% authentic suede trim, all buttons have the signature HC logo and the inside is lined with a beautiful royal blue silky material to give a luxurious feel. Whats more, its actually really comfortable and practical which when combined with style is a pretty great achievement by Jade – founder of Holland Cooper and all-round glamorous beauty.
What to wear?
I personally think you could wear pretty much anything with this jacket and it would still look great. I styled mine with a pair of skinny jeans and heels for a smart casual look, suitable for a Sunday Lunch date and paired with my favourite Fairfax & Favor Windsor Handbag and added navy Holland Cooper Pom Pom Key Ring for a more personal touch. However, I am planning to wear this jacket to a more formal outing next week and I am thinking of wearing this with a white cocktail type dress and heels. I also have my eye on the matching triple ra skirt which is just stunning.
The sporting jacket is actually really great value for money too considering the quality of the materials used and the fact it is cut and hand made entirely in Great Britain – one of the things I love about this brand.
Not a fan of navy?
If you are not a huge fan of navy (unlike me!) this stunning jacket is also available in a brown herringbone option which I have to say is equally as gorgeous and for the value for money I am seriously tempted to collect both! There are a number of jackets that have been unveiled as part of the new Spring/Summer range so there is definitely something for every taste which brings me nicely to my next point…
Not just for girls
Holland Cooper also offer a stunning range of men’s clothing, this must be true because I have actually managed to get my wonderful other half to sit still long enough for a picture!
Featured here is the Sloane Jacket which Jade was kind enough to custom make so that it fitted perfectly and was to James’ taste which just happened to be the style of the season – Tawny.
The quality of this jacket is undeniable, attention to detail is everywhere from the knotted buttons to the suede trims and sleek tailoring. It could be worn with a much smarter outfit than seen here or paired down with jeans meaning that it is ideal for all occasions.
